Quilts of Valor Presentation

Speakers from the Southern California chapter of Quilts of Valor will speak about the national movement to honor and comfort veterans by creating quilts for them.

Two veterans will be honored and presented with quilts from the organization in a moving and patriotic ceremony celebrating their service.

The SoCal Quilts of Valor chapter will be hosting a "Quiltathon" at this year's show, where volunteers will demonstrate their appreciation for veterans by working together on projects throughout the event.

If you want to thank a veteran, you're invited to join in the Quiltathon, If you already know how to sew or want to learn, please bring a sewing machine along if you can. Even if you don’t know how to use a sewing machine, you are welcome to help cut fabrics, trim threads, and press fabric.
